Title: Landscape Architect/Graduate

Job Description: Mader Design is looking to meet talented Landscape Architects and Graduate Designers to join our practice. we are looking for someone with previous experience working in landscape architecture, to design and lead projects in parks and institutional markets.

We seek a collaborative personality with experience in institutional/public site design and master planning projects, who is also seeking opportunities for professional growth. Our exciting and diverse project types include parks & recreation, healthcare, religious, community/civic, and education site design.

Candidates should possess strong organizational, design, and communication skills including effective collaboration with coworkers, clients, consultants, and contractor project teams, and the ability to coordinate project processes and work in a team environment.

Expectations for this role include:

Full time, salaried position - 40 hours per week

Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and take initiative to progress projects

Work on multiple projects with multiple clients concurrently and adjust to dynamic project needs

Build relationships through communications with internal team, clients, consultants, and contractors

Coordinate projects in conjunction with other team members

Produce graphics, hardscape and planting designs, research materials, construction documents and project deliverables

Actively engage in opportunities in professional organizations and civic or community activities

Required Experience/Skills: Candidates shall be a licensed and registered Landscape Architect, or hold a degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university, with experience in site planning and design projects

Developing experience in project design, construction detailing, specification writing, and construction administration

Strong collaboration and organization with proven ability to successfully participate in multidisciplinary design teams

Excellent verbal and written communication to effectively communicate with a variety of professional staff, clients, and project partners

Proficiency in site design, and growing knowledge of construction materials and techniques

Planting design experience in institutional and parks settings, with a focus on native plants

In depth experience with software including AutoCAD/LandFX, Adobe graphics products, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office Suite

Knowledge of IT is a plus
