Title: Associate University Landscape Architect
Job Description: Project management of a full range of site and landscape architectural projects throughout the statewide campus system. Working in consort with the university landscape architect and entire Capital Planning and Facilities team to identify on going needs on all campuses. Daily activity requires disciplined execution of professional skills required for project budgeting, cost estimating, and negotiation of fee proposals as well as the overall management of consultant design partners in the production of contract documents, construction administration, and close out requirements.
Required Experience/Skills: Ability to evaluate landscape architecture proposals for comprehensiveness and accuracy. Capacity for analysis of project budgets to realize optimal project outcomes. Ability to manage difficult political environments and complex relationships as well as understand and communicate complicated landscape architectural alternatives and proposed solutions.
