The Nature Conservancy: Two-Stage Channel Design Field Day

On July 2, 2019, from 8:30am to 11:30am, The Nature Conservancy (TNC) and the Deer Creek-Sugar Creek Watershed Project are co-hosting a field day focused on two-stage channel design. A segment of two-stage channel was constructed for demonstration in 2018 through a partnership of TNC, the local drainage board, and local surveyor. This demonstration site is adjacent to the city of Delphi, IN and can be easily accessed off Interstate 65. The field day will outline the technical components, advantages, and site considerations for two-stage design. This field day can be self-claimed for credits.
